Our life with Labradors began back in 1999 with the arrival home of Pampa, a lovely yellow puppy.  She was neither registered nor had any important bloodlines, but it was through her that we were introduced to this wonderful breed and where we began to feel the responsability, respect and compromise the LABRADOR RETRIEVERS deserve.
It was here when we set out to look for another puppy.  It took us over a year to find her ...  But it was well worthwhile the wait.

Kuma arrived home in the month of February of 2002, she was full of joy and had tons of love and tenderness to give, then some time after we recieved Syrah and a little later Gwen.  Slowly we began to grow.
And so, without proposing it, we were introduced into the world of Cinophilia, which in turn allowed us to meet and contact a fantastic group of people, just as passionate over dogs as us.

SOUTHWARD KENNEL began with the arrival of Kuma´s first litter in our much treasured San Carlos de Bariloche, in Patagonia, Argentina.   And here is where all our Labradors were born and bred. 
In the early months of this year - 2006, we underwent an important change family-wise.   We moved 2.500 kms north to the town of Esquina in the south-western corner of the Province of Corrientes, Argentina.
Esquina is located on the banks of the river Corrientes, a region of incredible views and sunsets over the river delta in front of town.   Sportswise, this is a great hunting and fishing area, but today it is also where our dogs enjoy swimming and playing in its warm waters.
